Adoption & Available Cats

Sweet little Pirate and her equally cute human brother Tristan have had their happy ending!

Adoption Process

Adopting a rescue cat involves several steps to ensure that both the cat(s) and the adopter are a good match and that the transition to a new home is smooth. We also have a responsibility to ensure that we do our due diligence to ensure the potential adopter is ready for this type of commitment! Here’s an overview of our adoption process:

  • Fill out the form on this page

  • An adoption application will be sent for you to fill out

  • If your application is approved, a phone interview will be conducted

  • Personal and vet references will be verified

  • Meet & Greet will be scheduled

Our current adoption rates are as follows:

  • Adoption fee per cat over one year: $250

  • Adoption fee for a kitten: $250

  • Adoption fee for two kittens: $500

When you adopt a rescue cat, the adoption fee plays a crucial role in supporting the well-being of both the cat you’re adopting and other animals in need. Some of the items the adoption fee covers are:

  • Initial vetting and assessment

  • Spay/Neuter

  • Microchip

  • 2 FVRCP and Rabies vaccines

  • 2 Deworming treatments

  • Flea Treatment (if required)

Featured Adoptable Cats

Meet Cocoa!

Cocoa is a 6-month-old kitten who LOVES his wet food and equally loves other cats. He will meow when it is mealtime and rub all over his foster siblings. He is super fluffy for a short haired cat - he's sooo soft. Cocoa has a mind of his own but will need to work on trusting humans before he can snuggle up to them. We believe in time he will transform into a friendly, sweet boy in the end - sweet just like Cocoa! Will you be the gentle and patient person that Cocoa needs to bring him out of his shell?

Introducing Lionel!

Lionel is a timid kitty at first but is learning to trust more and more every day. He would love to have a gentle and patient person to help him see that humans are loving and caring so he can let his affectionate side come out. He loves to wrestle his siblings and play! Lionel must be adopted with one of his siblings or to a home with another young cat to be a playmate. This ensures he can get his kitten energy out and has company to snuggle up with when his humans are busy doing, well - human things! Apply to adopt Lionel today!

Hello JubeJube!

JubeJube is a sweet little fella who loves to play and explore. He is more on the quiet side - we have never heard him meow! He doesn't mind kisses and cuddles just in smaller doses. Not a huge cuddle bug - at least not yet ;). He is very loving and just like a typical cat, also likes his space too. He likes the company of his siblings and mama but isn't afraid to go off by himself for a good sleep. He plays best with Tux so it is recommended they are adopted together. Are you ready to invite Jubejube for a furever playdate?

Happy Tails

Here are some of our CCPH alumni and their happily ever afters!

Linda has found her forever home with her foster family, where she'll be surrounded by three other kitty companions. The 19-year-old son of the family quickly fell in love with her, and he just couldn’t bear to say goodbye. We’re so happy for Linda and absolutely love seeing the bond they’ve formed!

Simon is an adorable little buff-orange kitten and was the last of his litter of four to find his forever home. We're thrilled to share that he now has a young playmate in his new family, and the two of them are already enjoying endless fun and companionship. It's wonderful to see him so happy and settled!

Terrence is a charming black-and-white kitten who was adopted by a previous adopter who had already welcomed his sister into their home. Now, the two are happily running around together, enjoying every moment and bringing endless joy to their family.

Oliver and Bruna are now living in Vaughan and they’re absolutely thrilled with their new family members. They couldn’t be happier in their new home.
