Adoption & Available Cats

Sweet little Pirate and her equally cute human brother Tristan have had their happy ending!

Adoption Process

Adopting a rescue cat involves several steps to ensure that both the cat(s) and the adopter are a good match and that the transition to a new home is smooth. We also have a responsibility to ensure that we do our due diligence to ensure the potential adopter is ready for this type of commitment! Here’s an overview of our adoption process:

  • Fill out the form on this page

  • An adoption application will be sent for you to fill out

  • If your application is approved, a phone interview will be conducted

  • Personal and vet references will be verified

  • Meet & Greet will be scheduled

Our current adoption rates are as follows:

  • Adoption fee per cat over one year: $250

  • Adoption fee for a kitten: $250

  • Adoption fee for two kittens: $500

When you adopt a rescue cat, the adoption fee plays a crucial role in supporting the well-being of both the cat you’re adopting and other animals in need. Some of the items the adoption fee covers are:

  • Initial vetting and assessment

  • Spay/Neuter

  • Microchip

  • 2 FVRCP and Rabies vaccines

  • 2 Deworming treatments

  • Flea Treatment (if required)

Meet Trixie and Raine!

These beauties are a bonded pair!

Raine, our sweet tabby girl, is blossoming into a wonderfully affectionate companion. She’s been learning to embrace human love and is making remarkable progress! Trixie, the shyest sister, seems to have a special bond with Raine. We would love to see Raine find her forever home alongside Trixie or another young cat. These delightful kittens truly deserve the best home where they can continue to thrive together!

Trixie is a stunning tortie kitten with a gentle spirit. As the sister of Raine and Ashlynn, who are also looking for their forever homes, Trixie may be the shyest of the trio, but she has so much love to offer. She would thrive in a patient home with a confident young cat who can help her come out of her shell. With her striking beauty and sweet personality, Trixie is sure to capture your heart. Consider giving her and her sister the loving home they deserve!

Introducing Milton!

Milton is a sweet seven-year-old cat who’s been through a lot. After surviving a tough life in the countryside, he was finally rescued—and that’s when we discovered he has diabetes. Thankfully, Milton is currently in remission, though we're unsure how long it will last.

Now, we’re looking for that special person who can provide him with the care and support he needs—alongside our unwavering love and commitment, of course. Milton is incredibly affectionate; he gives the warmest hugs and is one of the snuggliest cats you’ll ever meet. He’s gentle, kind, and gets along wonderfully with other cats.

This special boy has so much love to give, and we’re hopeful to find someone who sees just how special he truly is.

Hello Ronaldo!

Ronaldo is a wise and loving 14-year-old kitty who sadly lost his person. After ending up in a shelter, he was at risk of being euthanized simply because of his age—but we couldn’t let that happen. We stepped in and gave him a second chance.

Since coming into our care, Ronaldo has started to thrive—he’s put on a bit of much-needed weight and is doing really well. He’s incredibly affectionate and loves nothing more than curling up on the bed beside you for a cozy nap. While he’s okay with other cats nearby, he prefers his own space and would rather they keep a respectful distance.

Ronaldo may be a senior, but he has so much love and life left to give. He’s a calm, loyal companion just waiting for a peaceful home to call his own again.

Happy Tails

Here are some of our CCPH alumni and their happily ever afters!

Linda has found her forever home with her foster family, where she'll be surrounded by three other kitty companions. The 19-year-old son of the family quickly fell in love with her, and he just couldn’t bear to say goodbye. We’re so happy for Linda and absolutely love seeing the bond they’ve formed!

Simon is an adorable little buff-orange kitten and was the last of his litter of four to find his forever home. We're thrilled to share that he now has a young playmate in his new family, and the two of them are already enjoying endless fun and companionship. It's wonderful to see him so happy and settled!

Terrence is a charming black-and-white kitten who was adopted by a previous adopter who had already welcomed his sister into their home. Now, the two are happily running around together, enjoying every moment and bringing endless joy to their family.

Oliver and Bruna are now living in Vaughan and they’re absolutely thrilled with their new family members. They couldn’t be happier in their new home.
