Adoption & Available Cats

Sweet little Pirate and her equally cute human brother Tristan have had their happy ending!

Adoption Process

Adopting a rescue cat involves several steps to ensure that both the cat(s) and the adopter are a good match and that the transition to a new home is smooth. We also have a responsibility to ensure that we do our due diligence to ensure the potential adopter is ready for this type of commitment! Here’s an overview of our adoption process:

  • Fill out the form on this page

  • An adoption application will be sent for you to fill out

  • If your application is approved, a phone interview will be conducted

  • Personal and vet references will be verified

  • Meet & Greet will be scheduled

Our current adoption rates are as follows:

  • Adoption fee per cat over one year: $250

  • Adoption fee for a kitten: $250

  • Adoption fee for two kittens: $500

When you adopt a rescue cat, the adoption fee plays a crucial role in supporting the well-being of both the cat you’re adopting and other animals in need. Some of the items the adoption fee covers are:

  • Initial vetting and assessment

  • Spay/Neuter

  • Microchip

  • 2 FVRCP and Rabies vaccines

  • 2 Deworming treatments

  • Flea Treatment (if required)

Meet Sardine & Tuna!

Sardine and Tuna are the sweetest brothers. They are still a little nervous around new people, but they have shown their true personalities with their foster parents. They are incredibly cuddly, playful, and so very sweet. Sardine has become a total lap cat and happily curls up for snuggles whenever there's a chance. Both of them follow their foster parents around everywhere, always wanting to be close by and part of whatever they are doing. Sardine and Tuna are truly two peas in a pod and will make a lovely addition to your family!

Introducing Tiny!

She might be named Tiny but she’s got a big personality! Tiny loves to play hide and seek and peek a boo with her cat friends and her human - so much so that she will need another young cat or a playful adult kitty to be friends with. A home with a dog that has cat experience and with older children would be her preference. Did we mention she likes to sleep on the bed with you at night? Hello Lulu!

Lulu is a gorgeous solid grey beauty! Though she was born on the streets, she has adapted wonderfully to indoor life. Lulu absolutely adores other cats and must go to a home with at least one friendly feline companion. She would do best in a home with older children or a quieter, adult-only household. Lulu may need some time to adjust to a new environment, so having a safe, cozy space like a bedroom to help her settle in will set her up for success. With patience and love, Lulu will blossom into a sweet, social companion for your family. Lulu can also be adopted with her sweet sister, Marsha, who makes the loveliest pair.

Happy Tails

Here are some of our CCPH alumni and their happily ever afters!

Linda has found her forever home with her foster family, where she'll be surrounded by three other kitty companions. The 19-year-old son of the family quickly fell in love with her, and he just couldn’t bear to say goodbye. We’re so happy for Linda and absolutely love seeing the bond they’ve formed!

Simon is an adorable little buff-orange kitten and was the last of his litter of four to find his forever home. We're thrilled to share that he now has a young playmate in his new family, and the two of them are already enjoying endless fun and companionship. It's wonderful to see him so happy and settled!

Terrence is a charming black-and-white kitten who was adopted by a previous adopter who had already welcomed his sister into their home. Now, the two are happily running around together, enjoying every moment and bringing endless joy to their family.

Oliver and Bruna are now living in Vaughan and they’re absolutely thrilled with their new family members. They couldn’t be happier in their new home.
