TNVR Tips

Trapping a whole colony can be a challenge. There are many tips and tricks to safely secure kittens, moms and those trap savvy cats that just won’t go in the trap. Patience and strategy are the keys to trapping. If you are interested in this work, we are here to help you learn.

Socialization

Working with scared under socialized cats is a very rewarding undertaking. Cats often express fear by displays of aggression, but under it all, there is a sweet disposition. Winter Cat Care

There are many ways to make community cats more comfortable during our chilly winter months. Members of our Network work through the fall to build shelters and educate about winter community cat care. They are worth the effort!

Community Cat Pawsibilities of Hamilton is a proud member of the Hamilton Community Cat Network (HCCN). The HCCN is a collaborative of stakeholders committed to healthy, safe and wanted cats. Some of our members include the City of Hamilton and the HBSPCA. The members of the HCCN are working together to reduce the number of Community Cats in Hamilton and improve the lives of community cats.
